Celebrating The “12 Days of BMW”

Here at the premier BMW new and used car dealership in Jupiter, Florida, Braman BMW Jupiter, all of our team members look forward to the festive holiday season. One of our favorite things to do during the holidays is to enjoy all of the seasonal music that makes this time of year so special. “The 12 Days of Christmas” is one such tune that inspires us to think about the many ways we can celebrate the gift of BMW during the holidays. So we came up with our list of 12 reasons why we should celebrate why BMWs are “The Ultimate Driving Machine™.” Here then is our “12 Days of BMW.”

The First Day – Celebrating BMW’s Proud Heritage

BMW began its journey toward being one of the world’s finest automakers in 1916 when aircraft engine manufacturer Rapp Motorenwerke became Bayerische Motorenwerke. BMW originally began manufacturing automobiles in 1929 when it purchased a company that built “Austin Sevens” vehicles. BMW re-tooled these vehicles and, in 1936, began production of the BMW 328 sports car.

After World War II, BMW resumed production, moving its manufacturing facility to Bavaria in 1952. BMW’s signature blue and white logo evoked the Bavarian flag.
