THRILL-SEEKERS REJOICE

At first glance, the BMW M5 2022 may appear not to be as flamboyant as previous models, but rest assured, this luxury car is not for just driving to church on Sundays. It is for people who love thrills. It comes with a 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbo that delivers 627 hp and goes from 0-60 mph in less than 3 seconds, which more than matches its closest rival. The BMW M5 2022 rivals being: the Mercedes GT63 or the Audi RS7. But aside from just power and speed, the 2022 BMW M5 has several other features compared to its predecessors: it is lighter, compact, has stiff engine mounts, a robust anti-roll bar in the rear, and a lower ride height, which makes it easier to maneuver and handle around corners and bends.

THE EXTERIOR

The exterior reveals the iconic BMW bronze gold grille and forged wheels with M carbon-ceramic brakes. To reduce the weight, the M5 has introduced carbon fiber reinforced plastic for the hood, roof, and mirror caps. The car’s sportier look has been amplified by the large quad tailpipes. All in all, the few intricate touches here and there have made the M5 an attractive sedan.

The 2022 BMW M5 is only available in a limited number, and exclusive colors, including a frozen deep green and frozen hatch grey metallic, so it will be sure to stand out in a crowd.

There is no question that the M5 is a brutally powerful sedan, but to showcase its acceleration and power, you will need more space and less traffic.

The 2022 BMW M5 was never meant to be a gas saver; it offers mileage figures of 15 and 21 mpg for city and highway, respectively.

THE INTERIOR

While much of the exterior is not that different from previous models, the company has put a lot of effort into making the interior stand apart. Besides the hollowed carbon bucket seats with a mix of Alcantara and Merino leather, the major noticeable difference is the absence of the rear bench, which has reduced the seating capacity to only four, but there is ample leg and headroom. Other features include a digital gauge cluster heads-up display, heated front seats, four-zone climate control, a four-zone automatic climate control, adjustable ambient lighting, wireless charging, keyless entry, remote engine start, and a universal garage door opener.

Standard safety features include forward collision warning, rearview camera, lane departure warning, active blind-spot detection, and rear/front parking sensors. There is an i7 Drive software that includes the infotainment system and many other features, namely Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Sirius XM, Bluetooth, and navigation.

The 2022 BMW M5 comes with a dense M Alcantara steering wheel, carbon-fiber shift paddles, and the iconic red M1 and M2 buttons that recall your driver settings. These small artistic changes have added an extra flair to the car.  And, if you plan to travel, do not worry, there is ample cargo space to accommodate several large suitcases.

WARRANTY AND MAINTENANCE

Like all BMWs, the M5 comes with a four-year/50K limited warranty, four years of roadside assistance, and three years or 36K miles of complimentary scheduled maintenance.

Those who have the money will not be disappointed with the M5, which is the car of the next generation. It is solidly built, fast, and reliable.  The 2022 BMW M5 smokes the competition.

The one downside is the cost, which has a base price of $103K. Add in the extras and you are looking at a luxury sports car for around $125K; the M5 CS costs $142K. The M5 will start arriving at dealerships this Fall.  Call Braman Motorcars today at 1-561-465-8293 to get in your bid for a test drive.
