If you ask BWM diehard fans, contemporary new BMW models have an exciting design category to always look forward to. The 2024 BMW M5 is no exception with interesting technological advances. Although the futuristic 2024 BMW M5’s final design which is to debut early next year remains hidden, here are some of the spied features we have compiled for you.

THE 2024 BMW M5 HAS AN iDRIVE 8 INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM

Taking center stage is its curved driver display. The futuristic BMW will feature a wide curved 14.9-inch infotainment screen on the dashboard. The 5G connectivity and augmented reality navigation system are the deal makers for the model.

OVERHAULED EXTERIOR DESIGN AND SHARPER INTERIORS

The vehicle has undergone an extreme makeover, including a flat bottom steering wheel with multi-colored contrast stitching. The dashboard is entirely new, with updated iDrive rotary dial and switch gears. Its kidney grill is not anything like its predecessors. BMW has opted to shrink the kidney grille to align with its headlight units. Expect to see bigger bumpers and fatter side skirts. However, its classic quad exhaust will remain the same.

 A PLUG-IN HYBRID V8 POWERTRAIN

As we can see in the charging port, this BMW will be a V8 plug-in hybrid. This shift to a hybrid powertrain technology comes as big news for BMW fanatics in the automotive world. The pure-electric range will be hopefully around 30 miles. The vehicle will have a twin-turbo 4.4-liter S68 engine. Chances are it will have a horsepower of 650 mph, a spicy flavor to the 2023 counterpart. With such a high-performance motor, it will send 1100 Nm and 455 kW to all its four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
