2016 is on the horizon, but that never stops car creators from making the next best thing. That might just mean taking one of their favorites and giving it a bit of a facelift or reorganizing it so that it’s lighter or more efficient, or in many ways just a little bit better than before. For BMW, they’re all about seeking innovation throughout the year, and the BMW Alpina B6 is next on their list of updated cars.
Based upon the 6-series Gran Coupe, the BMW Alpina is essentially the Gran Coupe, but upfitted with a custom drivetrain, interior, and overall appearance package. So what does that mean to the driver? That means an engine that’s capable of 600 hp, also due in part to the intake and fuel-system revamping. Torque jumps from 540 to 590, and being able to go from 0-60 in just 3.6 seconds.
Driving it shouldn’t be anything less than enjoyable. The big, beautiful wheels are classy and powerful, handling curves with aplomb and the overall feel of the wheel beneath your hands is never anything less than fantastic. Alpina is excited about the changes and can’t wait to show them off alongside BMW so customers can see and feel the difference. They’ve worked hard alongside BMW to bring these changes forth, always looking ahead to make everything better and the best it can be.
Keep an eye out for the 2016 BMW Alpina B6. It may be some time before it reaches a Braman BMW dealership in South Florida, but until then, you can easily content yourself with one of the many beautiful BMW cars waiting to be taken home. A solid idea? Lease one of your favorites and then pay a lower price while enjoying a flawless BMW as you wait for the BMW Alpina B6 to arrive on the scene.
